Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to this website and the related emails, materials, and products (the “Services”), operated by Stardentity LLC, a California limited liability company. By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What this is – and is not

The Services are educational, informational, and entertainment content. They share observations, frameworks, and ideas about identity, work, and change.

They are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, or mental health treatment, and they do not replace any of these. Reading this site, receiving our emails, or using our products does not create a therapist–client relationship with anyone at Stardentity.

Nothing here is legal, financial, or career advice. Any decisions you make based on what you read are your own.

Two rooms: about the founder

Stardentity LLC was founded by Olga Grant, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in the State of California. In everything Stardentity does – this website, its emails, free or paid materials – she does not act in her capacity as a therapist, and using the Services does not create a therapist–client relationship.

This works in the other direction as well. Stardentity is a separate business and is not part of her private practice. Her clinical work remains governed by California law and the standards of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and participation in Stardentity is not a path into that practice.

Email list

Signing up for our emails is free and voluntary. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. How we handle your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Stardentity® is a registered trademark of Stardentity LLC. All content on the Services – text, illustrations, the Stardentity name and logo, and the visual character featured here – is owned by Stardentity LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may read, link to, and share our content with attribution. You may not copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from it without our written permission, and you may not use the Stardentity name, logo, or characters to suggest affiliation or endorsement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services: no attempts to breach security, scrape content at scale, misrepresent your identity to us, or use the Services for anything unlawful.

Third-party links and services

The Services may link to third-party platforms (such as our social media profiles) and rely on third-party services (Kit for email, Stripe for payments, Netlify for hosting). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Your use of their services is governed by their terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stardentity LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services or reliance on their content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by California law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
